Camping and Caravanning Rules
Admission
- Dogs: Allowed but must be on leads and cleaned up after.
- Campfires and BBQs must be raised above ground and must have a fire mat ( to protect the grass )
- Rubbish: Must be disposed of in bins provided.
- Children: Must be supervised at all times.
- Respect: Quiet hours after 9pm; no loud music or noise.
- No Swimming: No activities in the fishing lakes.
- Fishing: Extra charge; follow fishing rules.
- Alpacas: Do not feed except uncooked, chopped carrots.
- Check-In/Out: Arrive between 12pm-5pm, check out by 10:30am. Gates open 8am-6pm.
- Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
- All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
- At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
- Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Cancellation policy
Balance refunds: no penalties
No refund if canceled within 14 days of holiday start date.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.
Understanding Our Agreement
Our agreement covers you, the person making the booking, and all members of your party, including children and day visitors. Make sure everyone in your party is aware of and agrees to these terms. The agreement comes into effect when the booking is made and lasts until the final member of your party leaves the park.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion, and may require details such as name, age, address and gender of each member of your party. You must provide complete details of your party, which must include you, before arrival. Any email address provided during booking may be used for future promotional activities, including on third-party websites.
We can cancel your booking or ask you or your party to leave Fourways Country Park immediately, without any compensation or refund, if you or your party fails to comply with this agreement, specifically in relation to behaviour and conduct, or if you or any member of your party has been asked to leave any of our Parks in the past, or if we consider the stay not a holiday.
All prices include VAT at the current rate.
There is a £25.00 administration charge for any changes to the booking.
Confirmed bookings can’t be changed on the arrival day. Please inform us if you plan to arrive after 5pm or on a different date.
No refunds are offered if your booking is within 2 weeks of your confirmed arrival date. If it’s more than 2 weeks away, you can either change your booking date or get a full refund (minus £25 Admin Fee). Management takes no responsibility for changes in circumstances.
You must be over 21 to make a booking and there must be at least one competent and responsible adult over 21 on each touring pitch or in each accommodation unit. The majority of people on any booking can’t be aged between 17 & 21.
You will be asked to leave if more than the stated number of persons on the booking form occupy the accommodation/pitch. The composition of your party and the allocation of guests in each accommodation/pitch must remain as notified to us.
We only accept bookings from families and couples. We DO NOT accept parties of the same or majority gender.
Stag & hen parties are not allowed and we reserve the right to ask such parties to leave without a refund.
Only ONE car may be parked at each pitch/accommodation (exceptions apply). Extra vehicles/day visitors – MUST be parked in the car park and a ticket obtained from Reception must be displayed in the vehicle window (charges apply – £5 per night).
Transit vans, work or commercial vehicles must be parked in the car park, and are by arrangement only. Motorised scooters may not be used on-site unless they are road-legal and insured.
If any booked accommodation is unavailable for any reason, the proprietors’ liability will not exceed a refund of any amount already received.
Fourways Country Park Ltd. advises customers to get their own travel insurance.
We aim to provide a relaxed Holiday Park suitable for families.
We strive to maintain a safe and secure environment for you and your family. Anyone subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 is not allowed to use or visit our Parks.
All young children must be accompanied to all facilities (including bars and leisure complex). They can’t use the facilities alone.
Motorised recreational vehicles can’t be used on the Park (includes scooters, bikes, children’s ride-ons).
Please note we use CCTV cameras on our parks.
Behaviour and Compliance with this Agreement
Your behaviour should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night.
Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated. We may ask you or any member of your party to leave immediately if your conduct is considered by us to be inappropriate, likely to cause harm, or impair the enjoyment, comfort or safety of other customers, staff or the general public, or is likely in our belief, to breach any of our agreement with you. No refunds or compensation will be given in these circumstances.
You’re responsible for supervising your party members under 21. Children and babies must be supervised at all times. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the Park.
We operate a challenge 21 policy in our licensed premises and only sell alcohol to persons over 18. We reserve the right to request a valid form of nationally approved identification if in doubt.
Solar Lights, Fireworks, Pyrotechnics and Sky Lanterns are prohibited on the park. You can’t bring or use any shotgun, knife, firearm, archery equipment, any illegal substances or similar to any Park under any circumstances.
Customers are welcome to bring a BBQ to use at their pitch. If you’re using a disposable BBQ it must be lifted off the ground (BBQ blocks available to borrow). Customers must not, under any circumstances, light fires or use fire bowls at their pitches.
The use/flying of drones or any other powered aircraft is not permitted on the Park, unless express permission has been given, in advance, by head office.
We occasionally take photographs for advertising purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any such material please inform us at the time.
Parents of children with bikes/scooters must ensure they are ridden in a courteous and responsible manner and supervised by an adult at all times. In the interests of safety, bicycles are only to be ridden during daylight hours. Play areas to be used only during daylight hours.
All accidents during your stay must be reported to reception.
Touring
You are expected to keep the area around your pitch clean and tidy.
All pitches are allocated on arrival. Pitches are available from 1PM and must be vacated by 10 AM.
Waste disposal points are provided for normal household waste and recycling. All chemical waste from caravan toilets must be disposed of in the chemical waste disposal point provided. All grey waste must be disposed of into marked drainage points only, and must not be discharged into the ground.
Only organic chemicals can be used on our site.
Strictly no pup tents or gazebos. We do not accept group bookings. Maximum persons per pitch = 5 (without prior agreement). Please have the size of your tent available when booking. All confirmed bookings are for the size stated only.
Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. Dogs must be exercised either off the Park or on the designated dog exercise area. All dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in the bins provided. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.
Fishing
Fishing at Fourways Country Park is not included in your booking. Please buy permits before fishing from the onsite store. We can’t guarantee fishing pegs are available, but we do our best to keep pleasure fishing pegs available every day of the year. You can’t walk around the lakes before 7am and after 9pm or when it’s dark, whichever comes first. No bread or artificial baits or floating baits to be used.
